There is absolutely no reason for you NOT to quit smoking. First of all, smoking is BAD for your health and it makes your life shorter. Knowing this fact is enough reason to stop this bad habit.

If you are forgetting about how detrimental smoking is to you, here’s a bit of a refresher for you:

Smoking goes a long way when it comes to ruining your health. The fact that it has bad effects to almost all organs in the body, smokers are the most prone to be getting serious diseases like lung cancer, stroke, mental decline, organ failures, fast-aging and more to mention. All these affect the body and the effects accumulate later in life which can lead to shortening of your lifespan.

If you still want to do a lot in life, call it quits to smoking! So if you’re on the verge of deciding whether you should quit or not, there’s no better option for you but to go for it now before it gets too late.

Every smoker has his or her own motivation for quitting the bad habit. Here are some reasons that commonly motivates people to quit smoking:

To Save Your Life for the Worst

According to recent studies, smoking causes nearly one of every five deaths in the US each year. As smoking harms nearly every organ of the body, this fact isn’t really surprising. The effects of smoking accumulate over time and its effects are tremendous.

The effects of smoking range from simple bodily changes like a rough skin condition, stained teeth and lips and other bodily changes that could be indications of possible disease, to increased risk of stroke and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as high risk for cancer of almost all organs and body parts available. All these risks, lead to fatality later in life. A stick of cigarette is equivalent to 8 minutes of your life that you lose each time you smoke.

To be Healthier

Although effects of smoking can be rather permanent, it’s never too late to stop. It’s better to stop now than not stopping at all. Quitting can help you start your journey to a healthier body. If you have stopped early, there’d be a better chance for your health to improve and for the risk of having diseases to decrease.

For Better Lifestyle

You can never realize how much in your life you have lost until you stop smoking. Smoking can be an addiction. A life of no addiction is a better life indeed. Quitting can mean that you have more money to spend on worthy things, you can have more quality time with family, you can enjoy your food better, you won’t smell like smoke every time, everything will smell better and more.

It’s true that smoking somehow gives temporary relief, but then again it’s only temporary. Smoking is never good for you. Live your life to the fullest by being sound in mind, soul, and body. QUIT SMOKING NOW, before it’s too late.
