Our respiratory care staff provides a full spectrum of inpatient respiratory services including aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, arterial blood gas analysis, airway management, and ventilator management. Our highly skilled staff is available 24/7, 365 days per year. We utilize several protocols that provide personalized treatment plans for patients receiving BIPAP, continuous nebulization in the ED/ICU and weaning from mechanical ventilation.
Pulmonary Function Testing
Pulmonary function testing is one of the basic tools for evaluating a patient's respiratory status. In patients with suspected pulmonary disease, it is often the first diagnostic test employed in the work up. Pulmonary function tests (PFT's) are also used for pre-operative evaluation, managing patients with known pulmonary disease, and quantifying pulmonary disability.
